Laton Spahr was named president of SS&C ALPS Advisors, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. Spahr will report to Mike Sleightholme, senior vice president and general manager of DST Systems.
Both companies are subsidiaries of SS&C Technologies.
The spokeswoman could not immediately provide further information on whether Mr. Spahr's position is new.
Mr. Spahr was previously a senior portfolio manager at OppenheimerFunds. Jeaneen Terrio, spokeswoman at Invesco, which acquired OppenheimerFunds earlier this year, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
SS&C ALPS Advisors has about $17 billion in assets under management.
