Damian Secen was named a parter at Equis Group, a Singapore-based infrastructure private equity manager.
The position is new. David Russell, a partner and co-founder of Equis, said in an email that Mr. Secen will be based in Singapore.
Mr. Secen was previously a senior managing director at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets in New York. A Macquarie spokesman couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
According to Equis' website, the firm has raised more than $2.7 billion in private equity since 2011.
