Galveston, Texas, is searching for record keepers for its $15 million 457 plan, according to an RFP posted on the city's purchasing website.
The city is seeking firms "to provide retirement plan administration, record keeping, education and communications" for the plan, the RFP said.
The current record keepers are ICMA-RC, Nationwide Financial and One America. Whether the firms are invited to rebid, and whether the city is seeking to consolidate to a single record keeper, could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the city's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT on May 8. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
Melissa Thompson, city purchasing specialist, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
