Michael Aingorn has joined alternative investment manager Crestline Investors as a managing director, spokesman Dmitriy Ioselevich, spokesman said in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Aingorn is based in New York and reports to Keith Williams, managing partner responsible for credit strategies. Mr. Aingorn will spearhead Crestline's efforts to invest in liquid credit through the firm's opportunistic mandates.
Mr. Aingorn had been a partner at private equity firm American Industrial Partners. Neither Ben DeRosa nor Daryl Yap, partners at American Industrial Partners, could be immediately reached for comment.
