Tony Politano was named senior client investment officer in the multimanager investment outsourcing practice at Northern Trust Asset Management, spokesman Tim Hacker said in an e-mail.
It is a new position based in Toronto, added because of “significant business growth in Canada,” Mr. Hacker said.
Mr. Politano was previously a senior investment consultant at Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting. Aon Hewitt spokeswoman Mackenzie Lucas could not immediately provide further information on that position.
