Alex Campbell was named investment director for infrastructure debt at Standard Life Investments, a spokeswoman said.
Marianne Froude also joined as investment analyst for the infrastructure team.
Both positions are new and based in London. Mr. Campbell and Ms. Froude report to Jeremy Allcock, head of infrastructure debt.
Mr. Campbell is responsible for sourcing, negotiation, preparation and review of infrastructure debt funding proposals for the £240.7 billion ($371.2 billion) money manager.
He was previously director of infrastructure at Assured Guaranty, a provider of financial guaranty insurance. He left in December, according to the Financial Services Authority register. A spokeswoman for the firm could not be reached for comment.
Ms. Froude was previously at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group. Further details were not available by press time. Spokesmen could not be reached for comment by press time.
