Grand Island, Neb., is searching for a third-party administrator and investment manager for its $15 million Firefighters Retirement Plan and $13 million Police Officers Retirement Plan, said Tami Herald, the city's benefits and risk management coordinator.
The city has issued an RFP as part of its fiduciary duty to put the services up for bid periodically, Ms. Herald said in a telephone interview. Wells Fargo, the current administrator and manager, is invited to rebid. The city is seeking one firm to provide all services.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. CDT on June 24. A decision is expected by Aug. 17.
