Lincoln (Neb.) Police & Fire Pension Fund hired Principal Global Investors to manage an $11 million core real estate portfolio, said Paul Lutomski, pension officer.
The $203 million pension fund will likely fund the separate account by reducing equity holdings; Mr. Lutomski did not have specific information on that, but said no managers would be terminated.
Investment consultant Watershed Investment Consultants assisted.
