Impact investment continues to grab headlines, and with accelerating institutional demand, three experts in the field have launched a consulting firm focused on the cause.
Christina Leijonhufvud, creator, and former head of J.P. Morgan's social finance business; Ben Thornley, former head of the global research and consulting practice at Pacific Community Ventures; and Kim Wright-Violich, former CEO of Schwab Charitable, have teamed up to launch Tideline.
The firm will provide institutional investors with advice on opportunities relating to impact investment strategies and solutions.
In a statement announcing the launch of Tideline, the firm cited sustainable, responsible and impact investment growth of 76% in two years in the U.S., to account for $6.6 trillion of assets at the start of 2014.
Tideline has offices in New York and San Francisco.
