Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass., is searching for a private equity fund-of-funds manager to run about $10 million.
Wainwright Investment Counsel, investment consultant to the $770 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
“The fund of funds should allow access to a venture capital, U.S. private equity, international private equity (offering) individually or as portfolio that combines the three strategies in one single offering,” the RFP said.
Additionally, the offering is not a blind pool; investors will have full visibility in the partnerships in which the fund of funds will invest.
The RFP is available on Wainwright’s website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on Jan. 30. A selection date has not yet been determined.
Patrick LePage, assistant executive director of the pension fund, and Gus Aristizabal, director of research at Wainwright Investment Counsel, did not respond to requests for comment.
