Sylvia Pozezanac was named senior managing director at Prudential Financial and head of the strategic solutions group, said Prudential spokeswoman Linda Fung.
Ms. Pozezanac will replace Kevin Myers, who has decided to retire in July.
Mr. Myers will work with Ms. Pozezanac through the transition period over the next six months. She will report to Stephen Pelletier, executive vice president and chief operating officer, U.S. businesses at Prudential Financial.
Ms. Pozezanac joined Prudential Financial’s strategic solutions group as managing director and global head of consultant relations in October. Ms. Fung did not know by press time whether she was replaced in that position.
