Brandon Snow was promoted to principal and co-chief investment officer at Cambridge Global Asset Management, effective immediately, said Neal Kerr, senior vice president, investment management, at parent company CI Investments.
The position is new. Mr. Snow will work with co-CIO Alan Radlo, who had been sole CIO since the firm was founded in 2008.
Mr. Snow will oversee Canadian equity strategies and retain his previous portfolio manager duties, while Mr. Radlo, who is also a principal, will supervise foreign equity strategies. Both will share U.S. investment oversight duties, Mr. Kerr said.
Also, Robert Swanson, a principal, was named to the new position of chief market strategist; he will continue to oversee Cambridge Global's income, asset allocation and equity-income portfolios.
Cambridge Global manages C$13 billion (US$11.6 billion) as a subadviser for CI Institutional Asset Management, another subsidiary of CI Investments and a multiboutique firm that targets pension funds, endowments, foundations and corporations. Signature Global Asset Management also subadvises for CI Institutional.
