American Beacon Advisors hired AHL Partners, a subsidiary of Man Group, as a subadviser for a new mutual fund, the American Beacon AHL Managed Futures Strategy Fund.
American Beacon applied for registration on April 30, according to SEC filings.
Portfolio managers for the new mutual fund are AHL Chief Investment Officer Matthew Sargaison and Russell Korgaonkar, head of portfolio management, according to the American Beacon filing.
Stephen Graddy, an American Beacon spokesman, said in an interview that he can't comment on a potential launch date for the managed futures mutual fund while it is in registration.
