Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, Saskatoon, is searching for an investment consultant and general consultant for its defined contribution plan, said Martin Hryniuk, SIGA director of procurement, in an e-mail.
Mr. Hyrniuk would not provide further information.
The gaming authority, in its RFP, said it is seeking an investment consultant to “review SIGA's investment options semiannually and provide recommendations for changes” and what the authority calls a “pension consultant” to provide day-to-day requirements, legal and compliance consulting, governance consultant and assisting the plan's service provider.
The authority's most recent annual report names Great-West Retirement Services as the plan's service provider; the names of current consultants, as well as an asset size could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is posted on the provincial procurement website. Registration is required.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on Aug. 19. Finalist presentations are tentatively scheduled for the week of Sept. 8. A timetable for a final decision was not made available.
