Jeffrey Mayer, head of corporate banking and securities for North America at Deutsche Bank AG is leaving the bank for a job at alternative investment firm Cerberus Capital Management, said people familiar with the situation.
Mr. Mayer will remain at Deutsche Bank until the end of the month. A successor to Mr. Mayer will be named in due course, said a source who declined to be identified. The separation is amicable, the person said.
Further details could not be learned.
Amanda Williams, Deutsche Bank spokeswoman, and Peter Duda, Cerberus spokesman both declined to comment.
