Louisiana Teachers' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, is searching for record keepers for its optional retirement plan, said Maurice Coleman, director of private markets.
The retirement system's $1.7 billion 401(a) plan will soon issue a solicitation for proposals due to the expiration of the current record keepers' contracts on June 30, 2015.
Current record keepers ING U.S. Retirement Solutions, TIAA-CREF and VALIC will be invited to rebid. The SFP will be available within the next few days on the retirement system's website.
Separately, the $16.9 billion pension fund committed $75 million to Bridgepoint Europe V, a European-focused buyout fund managed by Bridgepoint Capital, and $40 million to Turnbridge Capital Partners I, a middle-market infrastructure fund.
