Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association, Denver, hired Milliman to provide actuarial audit services, spokeswoman Katie Kaufmanis said in an e-mail.
Milliman will perform an actuarial audit of current actuary Cavanaugh Macdonald’s 2013 valuation for the retirement association’s $45.3 billion pension fund and $300 million health-care trust fund.
An RFP was issued in July.
Separately, the retirement association renewed its contract with RVK for defined contribution investment consulting services. RVK provides consulting services for the retirement association’s capital accumulation plans which have about $3.3 billion in assets.
