Steve Rodeman was named executive director of the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System, Tigard, starting on Nov. 1, said David Crosley, spokesman.
Mr. Rodeman, who is currently deputy director, replaces Paul Cleary, who will be retiring Dec. 1 from Oregon PERS, which administers the $68.2 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund, Salem. A new deputy director has not yet been selected.
“A conversation (about a replacement) has not occurred at this point,” Mr. Crosley said.
