Carol Larner was named vice president of investments at Cox Enterprises, confirmed spokeswoman Elizabeth Olmstead.
Ms. Larner previously was assistant vice president and assistant treasurer at Cox, and will not be replaced, Mr. Olmstead said. She will continue to report to Maria Friedman, senior vice president of tax and treasury services.
Ms. Larner is responsible for the investment management and oversight of Cox’s pension fund and 401(k) assets. Ms. Olmstead declined to provide any information relating to the retirement plans.
Cox’s defined benefit plan had $3.5 billion in assets and 401(k) plan, $2.4 billion, as of Dec. 31, 2012, according to its most recent Form 5500 filings.
