Maine Public Employees commits to infrastructure, buyout funds

Maine Public Employees Retirement System, Augusta, committed up to $100 million to Brookfield Infrastructure Fund II, confirmed Andrew Sawyer, chief investment officer.

It is the $11.4 billion pension fund's first commitment to a Brookfield Asset Management infrastructure fund.

Separately, the pension fund committed up to €60 million ($77.6 million) to CVC Capital Partners VI, a European buyout fund, also a first-time commitment.
