Wichita (Kan.) Employees 457 Deferred Compensation Plan is searching for a third-party administrator, confirmed Ryan Adkison, assistant pension manager for the city.
Incumbent Great-West Retirement Services is invited to rebid. Its contract expires this summer, and the city has the option to extend it through October, Mr. Adkison said in an e-mail. Great-West provides record-keeping, investment management and communication services for the $65 million plan.
Investment consultant Hyas Group is assisting.
The 457 plan has 19 investment options in addition to a series of custom target-date funds.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT June 4. A hiring decision is anticipated by mid-July.
