Judy Saunders was named an adviser to AMP Capital's U.K. business, a company spokeswoman confirmed.
The part-time position is new. Ms. Saunders will advise on AMP Capital's investment strategies and the firm's business development activities within the U.K. institutional market. She will report to Louisa Yeoman, AMP Capital's institutional director U.K.
“Judy's experience at one of the U.K.'s largest local authority pension funds will prove a valuable source in tailoring and enhancing our ability to meet the needs of clients in the U.K. across a range of strategies, particularly our infrastructure capabilities,” Ms. Yeoman said in a company news release.
Ms. Saunders was previously chief investment officer of the £9.8 billion ($15.4 billion) West Midlands Pension Fund, Wolverhampton, England. She retired in June 2012.
