Springfield (Mo.) Police Officers' & Firefighters' Retirement System is searching for a global custodian, confirmed Janell Manley, administrative director.
The $255 million pension fund is conducting the search because of the pending expiration of the contract of current custodian U.S. Bank, and the pension fund's policy to put the services up for bid every three years. Ms. Manley did not know whether U.S. Bank is invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CST Dec. 10. A decision is expected before the end of January.
The RFP is available on the city's website.
