Alena Kuprevich was named managing director at outsourced CIO firm Disciplina Group, according to a news release.
It is a new position. Ms. Kuprevich previously was managing director of private investments at the $4 billion Vanderbilt University endowment, Nashville, Tenn.
Disciplina Group was founded by Matthew Wright, former Vanderbilt vice chancellor of investments and endowment CIO who left the university in January. Disciplina signed its first client in September, according to the release.
Vanderbilt spokesman Jim Patterson said a search is underway for Ms. Kuprevich's replacement.
Attempts to reach Ms. Kuprevich and Mr. Wright were unsuccessful by press time.
