Nordea Investment Management hired Loomis Sayles & Co. to subadvise the Nordea Global Opportunity fund, confirmed Loomis Sayles spokeswoman Meg Clough.
Nordea executives could not be reached for comment by press time.
Managing the fund will be Loomis Sayles co-portfolio managers Eileen Riley and Lee Rosenbaum. Both are managers of Loomis Sayles' current global equity strategy and will continue to do so for the U.S., Ms. Clough said.
Nordea will have exclusive rights to distribute the fund for both retail and institutional investors in Europe.
