Jack Inglis was named CEO of the Alternative Investment Management Association, according to a news release.
Mr. Inglis will replace Andrew Baker, who announced in June he would be leaving at the end of this year. Mr. Inglis will join the global hedge fund industry association at the beginning of 2014.
Mr. Inglis was previously a member of the global executive committee at Barclays Capital.
Attempts to reach Mr. Inglis, Mr. Baker and officials at AIMA and Barclays Capital were unsuccessful by press time.
