Nick Davies was named senior consultant at Gallagher Fiduciary Advisors, the institutional investment advisory practice at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., confirmed Francis X. Lilly, Gallagher area chairman, in an e-mail.
The position is new. Mr. Davies will focus on client service and firm management. He will work out of the Washington office and report to the Gallagher Fiduciary Advisors management committee.
Mr. Davies was a principal in Mercer's investments business. His responsibilities will be assumed by others in the investment practice, according to Mercer spokesman Charles Salmans.
