Newton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System issued an RFP for actuarial valuation services.
The selected firm will provide services for the next five fiscal years, according to a posting on the website of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission.
Buck Consultants, the current actuary, can rebid, said Kelly Byrne, the system's director.
The RFP is available through July 15 from Ms. Byrne at Newton Contributory Retirement Board, 1000 Commonwealth Ave., Newton, MA 02459 at 617-796-1095, or e-mail at [email protected].
Written proposals must be sent by mail to Ms. Byrne at the above address by noon EDT Aug. 15.
A selection is expected on Sept. 18.
