Kara Margolis joined Lombard Odier Investment Managers as a senior institutional saleswoman.
The position is new, part of an expansion of the firm's U.S. institutional marketing and sales team, said Christopher Hannon, head of U.S. institutional, for parent company Lombard Odier Asset Management (USA).
In her new role, Ms. Margolis is focusing on marketing LOIM's hedge funds to U.S. institutional investors.
Ms. Margolis was director, marketing and investor relations at hedge fund C12 Capital Management. Her duties there have been assumed by Kelly Rhatigan, an associate, and other members of the firm's marketing and investor relations team, said Jonathan Gasthalter, a C12 spokesman.
