Sonoma County Employees' Retirement Association, Santa Rosa, Calif., is searching for a new retirement administrator, confirmed Kiergan Pegg, chairman of the board of the $2 billion pension plan.
Gary Bei is retiring at the end of the year. He has served as retirement administrator since 2004.
Applications are due by July 31. The board hopes to conduct interviews in mid-September and have a new administrator in place before Mr. Bei retires, Mr. Pegg said in an e-mailed response to questions.
Executive search firm Alliance Resource Consulting is assisting. A job posting is on Alliance Research's website.
