Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for a chief investment officer, confirmed spokeswoman Evelyn Tatkovski.
Alan van Noord, who has been CIO of the $50.5 billion pension fund since July 2002, announced in February he would be retiring from the retirement system at the end of June.
James H. Grossman Jr., deputy chief investment officer, will serve as acting CIO effective July 1.
