BMO Global Asset Management is increasing its U.S. institutional sales and relationship management team, according to Phillip E. Enochs, managing director and head of relationship management at the firm.
The firm has a 10-person institutional sales team in the U.S. and is looking to add three more.
“We've been growing our institutional distribution team and will continue to do so over the next year or so,” said Mr. Enochs in a telephone interview. “We've started the hiring process and have already hired some institutional sales people.”
Recent hires were Bruce McCutcheon and Diane Jones, both of whom were named directors of national accounts in November. Both work out of the firm's Boston office and report to Mike Robinson, head of intermediary sales.
Mr. Enochs added that he expects the new hires to be announced sometime in 2014's first quarter.
