Ken S. Park joined Oaktree Capital Management in Hong Kong as a vice president, marketing and client relations.
It is a new position.
Mr. Park will cover the South Korean market from Oaktree Capital’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong, confirmed Andrea Williams, Los Angeles-based head of investor relations for the credit-focused alternatives manager, in an e-mail.
Mr. Park comes to Oaktree from Seoul-based Robeco Institutional Asset Management, where he served as chief representative of Robeco Asset Management’s Korean office.
A Hong Kong-based spokeswoman for Robeco said a search is underway to replace Mr. Park in that position.
