Legal & General Investment Management America hired two portfolio managers and a client specialist, confirmed Kim Lisella, senior client portfolio manager and assistant head of distribution.
All three positions are new as the firm is “building out as we grow and add more specific capabilities,” Ms. Lisella said in a telephone interview.
Nick Devine, who is based in Chicago, was named portfolio manager and works with the active fixed-income team, Ms. Lisella said. He reports to Jeff Koch and David Nirtaut, co-heads of U.S. fixed income.
Zed Francis, also based in Chicago, joins LGIMA as LDI portfolio manager and is responsible for management of custom liability-driven investing portfolios. He reports to Jordan Ledford, head of U.S. solutions.
Todd Bitzer, based in Atlanta, was named senior client portfolio manager and works on the distribution team. He reports to Tom Meyers, senior client portfolio manager and head of distribution.
Mr. Bitzer was most recently an executive director at Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners. Spokesman Matt Burkhard did not provide information on a replacement by press time. Mr. Devine was previously a senior trader and portfolio manager at Balyasny Asset Management. An official at the firm declined to talk about replacement information. Mr. Francis was an equity and options trader at Chicago Fundamental Investment Partners.
