Vince Childers has joined real estate manager Cohen & Steers as a portfolio manager and to lead the firm's real assets investment strategies.
It's a new position, said Annette Bronkesh, Cohen & Steers spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
Mr. Childers will lead the research and investment team for real assets and be a portfolio manager for the Cohen & Steers Real Assets Fund; the actively managed fund was launched last year.
Mr. Childers co-managed AllianceBernstein's real asset investments. Spokeswoman Danielle Forrest said AllianceBernstein is “unable to provide information” regarding Mr. Childers' former title or whether he is being replaced.
