WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The $50 million Carolina Medicorp Inc. pension fund, Winston Salem, terminated Cooke & Bieler, which managed $8 million in equities.
The firm will not be replaced; assets will be redistributed among existing managers.
Hilda Thompson, consultant at Wyatt and the fund's consultant, said the firm's investment strategy no longer matched the fund's objectives.
