Boston Co. Asset Management named Francis D. Antin as vice chairman and chief operating officer, responsible for all sales and marketing functions. He replaces Michael Jones, who was among those who left to start Boston Partners Asset Management. Mr. Antin was director of marketing and product development at State Street Bank, where he has not been replaced yet.
The $700 million Arlington County (Va.) Supplemental Retirement System hired Bruce Kallos, a former trustee to the Delaware State Employees' Retirement, as administrator. He said changes are likely to occur at the fund, as often happens when a new fund administrator takes over, but it is too early to offer any specifics.
Donald G. Berdine has been named CIO at PNC Bank, Pittsburgh. Mr. Berdine, who resigned as senior investment officer at NCNB Texas in the summer, will assume the CIO duties of John Martin, senior vice president, who had been chief investment officer as well as head of PNC's private banking division
