Endowment Advisors Inc., an arm of The Common Fund, Westport, Conn., made a commitment of undisclosed size to CVC European Equity Partners, run by CVC Capital Partners. CVC was the first manager hired for Endowment Advisors' new International Private Equity Partners, a fund of funds, which is expected to have $60 million by the end of June. Before year's end, Endowment Advisors is likely to hire one or two additional managers for the international fund, said James Seymour, manager of International Private Equity Partners and a vice president of The Common Fund.
