New stock market indexes for the Czech Republic and Hungary will be included in the MSCI indexes after Sept. 2, according to Capital International Perspective, which calculates the MSCI indexes.
Capital International also said the MSCI Russia Index is in development; more details, including its launch date, will be released in coming months.
The MSCI Czech index will contain 21 securities with a market capitalization of $11.5 billion as of June 19 about 46% of the total market cap of the country. In its full coverage, MSCI follows 35 securities. The MSCI Hungary index contains nine securities with a market capitalization of $2.8 billion as of June 19, or about 63.8% of the country's total market cap.
