The $4 billion New Mexico Educational Retirement Board, Santa Fe, hired Danny Joe Lyle as its executive director.
Mr. Lyle is replacing Frank Ready, who left New Mexico to become the executive director of the Mississippi Public Employees' Retirement System.
Mr. Lyle now is financial director of the Albuquerque Public School System; he starts his new job June 17
