Green Century Capital Management Inc., Boston, selected Winslow Management to subadvise the Green Century Balanced Fund, a no-load environmentally responsible mutual fund.
Green Century delayed announcing the appointment of the firm, which actually took place several months ago, because executives wanted the portfolio manager, Jackson W. Robinson, president of Winslow, to be able to provide a track record for the fund, albeit brief, said Kristina Curtis, chief operating officer. Green Century is owned by a partnership of not-for-profit environmental advocacy groups
