Pennsylvania State Employes' Retirement System trustees, Harrisburg, committed $40 million to Vestar Capital Partners III to invest in management buy-outs, recapitalizations and growth equity investments and $15 million to the Technology Leaders' TL III venture capital fund, which will be invested in information technology and life sciences sectors.
Funding will come from cash and are subject to contract negotiations, said Nicholas Maiale, chairman.
