George Keith has been named president of Zurich Kemper Value Advisors.
Before, Mr. Keith had sales responsibilities in the firm's regional brokerage division. He now has expanded duties overseeing the day-to-day management of the New York office. He replaces Jim Neel, who left the firm to join Brown Brothers Harriman.
Jeffrey D. Furber joined AEW Capital as a managing director with responsibility for the firm's real estate securities and fixed-income activities. He replaces Clifford Brown, who left the firm earlier this year. Mr. Furber had been a managing director with Winthrop Financial Associates.
Also, Matthew Troxell and Robert Barringer have been promoted to director and co-portfolio manager of AEW's REIT operations. They had been senior analysts within the group. They take over for Jay Willoughby, who left to join Merrill Lynch
