Bethany Spurrier joined Baker Hughes, Houston, as financial benefits manager replacing Steve Lawrence, who remains on board focusing on international plans. Ms. Spurrier had been qualified plan specialist at Houston Industries, where her successor has not yet been named officially.
The Baker Hughes thrift plan has $568 million, according to Money Market Directory.
William Libby left the Florida State Board of Administration, Tallahassee, where he was portfolio manager for its $5.8 billion international equity portfolio, to join InterSec Research. At InterSec, he will be vice president-performance measurement, replacing Andrew Kramer, who left the firm. The Florida board hasn't replaced Mr. Libby yet
