John A. Gee, previously managing director of global sales and marketing for MFS Institutional Advisors, has been named managing director of MFS Australia.
The firm also named Gary Shinkoskey director in charge of international marketing and sales. He had been national sales manager for 401(k) plans and corporate pension plans. Also, Edward M. Swan, who joined the firm in January as national sales manager of public and Taft-Hartley pension funds, has been named managing director of U.S. sales.
Deborah J. Sparks joined Puget Sound Energy Inc., Bellevue, Wash., as benefits manager, overseeing the company's $500 million employee benefit funds. She replaces Laverne Imori, who is working in another area. Ms. Sparks had been working on a special project at Catholic Healthcare West, San Francisco, and, before that, was the organization's manager of benefits
