The Kingfisher Pension Scheme, London, hired State Street Bank as global custodian for the £800 million ($1.35 billion) fund. State Street replaces Citibank as custodian for the pension fund.
Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, Menlo Park, Calif., hired TT International as an international small-cap to midcap equity manager. The $20 million portfolio will be funded from cash and rebalancing by Dec. 1, said Bruce Madding, senior vice president for the $520 million foundation. Cambridge Associates assisted.
Tufts Health Plans, Waltham, Mass., hired Putnam Institutional Management as a high-yield bond manager for its $200 million general corporate fund. The not-for-profit allocated $10 million to the new asset class. Funding came from existing U.S. bond managers, none of which were terminated. Putnam already runs $22 million in global bonds for the fund. Prime Buchholz assisted.
