Rick Boersma was named executive director of the Kansas City (Mo.) Employees' Retirement System. He replaces Pat Gerrick, who left the $460 million fund to join the New York State Common Fund. Mr. Boersma was administrator-investment and trust services at Illinois Power Co., Decatur; no decision has been made on a replacement.
Connie Thompson was named CFO of the $600 million Bush Foundation, St. Paul, Minn., replacing Gerald M. Skogley, who retired. Ms. Thompson was controller of the foundation
