Haverford College, Haverford, Pa., hired its first emerging markets manager for its $190 million endowment. City of London will manage $7 million in emerging markets equities. Haverford decided to go with the firm because of its fund-of-funds approach after interviewing three other managers, said G. Richard Wynn, Haverford vice president of finance and adminstration.
Funding will come mainly from new money and existing managers. The search was conducted in-house.
