Lutheran Health System, Fargo, N.D., may launch a 401(k) plan in 2000, and will need to search for a manager if the plan is approved later this year, said Gerri Twomey, vice president, human resources.
The hospital currently has a $200 million after-tax defined contribution plan that is not participant directed, Ms. Twomey said.
