Collette Chilton, CIO of the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, Boston, reportedly is headed to Murray Hill, N.J., to head up Lucent Technologies' $48.4 billion pension fund.
Lucent's pension assets have been managed by AT&T Investment Management since the company split from AT&T in 1995. But Lucent decided in August 1997 to assume management of its own plan. Neither Lucent officials nor Ms. Chilton would comment.
Robert Snigaroff was named CIO of the $3.3 billion San Diego County Employees' Retirement Association, where he previously was investment officer. He replaces Richard N. Rose, who resigned last year.
